Yesterday, late in the afternoon, it rained. I mean really rained after drizzling all day long. It was glorious. I heard just one thunder rumble, but no lightning.
This morning, it was all foggy. So unusual at this time of year. I had a letter to mail, so I walked down to the mailbox quite early. When I turned around to come back up, I had to stop and take this photo.
Our lane looked like it was the portal to a magic kingdom...
It's such a blessing to have rain. We are always grateful for it. As soon as things dry out though, I have a date with the lawn mower. There's nothing like real rain to make things spring to life. I might need a hay baler for the garden grass!

Love foggy mornings we get that on the trails sometimes one thing about the rain it does make a grass grow
