
The clouds are moving in, and rain should start in a few hours. I always get all twitterpated when it's going to rain. Too many years of cruel drought have put me in a permanent state of awe when water falls right out of the sky.
The Talmud says that there are three things that the Holy One takes personal charge of, livelyhood, making marriage matches between people, and rain. So, there's reason to be in awe of rain!
A nice cloudy day is perfect for doing a little art.
I'm working on the Zentangle Inktober project by following a tutorial and making one 'tangle' a day and adding it to this bigger picture. I did it last year and had so much fun, I decided to do it again this year.
Here's the progress:

Zentangles are supposed to be relaxing and calming 'doodling' art. But honestly, doing this larger piece is a bit nerve wracking. I'm following the tutorial very closely, otherwise I'd be an emotional wreck trying to fit these things together myself.
