Canine Energies Dominate This Place

Just how small a space can you fit a Sheltie in?

How compact?

To have the most efficient use of Sheltie space, you understand.

Oh, about this much...

Give or take:

[album 65561 Thisnthat 001.jpg]

This was taken early in the morning before the heater had kicked on. She was pretending to be a sled dog. She is actually curled up on top of her frozen hunk of seal blubber.

After her vet visit this morning, I now know she weighs only 20 pounds soppin' wet.
I don't think 'sled dog' is going to be on her resume' any time soon.

We got medicine for her ears which were icky inside. Little infection going on, nothing major. Other than that, she has been declared healthy.

Me? Well, my head is reeling with dog and cat vibrations. I think I need a people break. I shall hie me off to Kabbalah class tonight and take care of that.

Oh, and the tricky part of this Piper business is that they think they already know just the person to adopt her. She's been on the waiting list for quite some time looking for a little Sheltie because she has a small place. And since Piper doesn't have any major issues to overcome, there is no reason to make her wait any longer if it is a match. We shall see.

I better get my snuggles in with Piper right away.

Boy this is one hard job.

No wonder they can only get volunteers to do it!

Piper snoozing on frozen seal blubber. Wait a sec. I thought Shelties herded sheep, not seal. Has somebody misled me?

    Bless

Now that is just the ticket and what DREAMS are made of. I do believe Dogs know trust and love far better than people.
What a super foster Mom you are.

    Wow!
That was fast. If it works out, I mean.
But then, who could resist that face?

WOW to only 20 pounds! That is a teeny doggie! So sad for you that she may have a home already, yet at the same time, how wonderful for Piper! I hope it's a happy match!
