Giveaway And An Introduction

The lamb is finally dry thank goodness. I was starting to worry about the stuffing getting mildewy.

I spent a fair amount of time yesterday securing her arms and legs properly. The felting process did a number on my original sewing job.

I have named her after two people. Witnessing both of their creative juices at the knitting retreat inspired this little mascot, so I combined their names to get....

Dory.

Here she is in her first outfit:

I have downloaded several doll clothes patterns from Ravelry to try. We shall see. This one just happened to fit her. I may not be so lucky next time.

Also, we have the next giveaway. It's a ... I don't know what it is, it was an experiment in pattern alteration that I made quite a while ago. It might make a nice cover for a can or glass that you can put pens or crochet hooks or knitting needles in. Or peppermint sticks if that is your predilection. It's 5 inches high.

Just leave a comment on this post and you will be entered in the drawing which will happen Monday morning when I turn on my computer. Remember, unauthenticated comments, please give me a clue who you are! You can leave your comment private if you prefer.

Okay, I have to go now. Dory's cousin is waiting to be knitted up. I'm almost finished...

Alas, no pics again and I so wanted to see Dory in her dress. *sigh*
Others are so excited by hopefully winning the vase that I'll pass on this one. I think I remember it and it is darling!
