February Balance

The weather has cooled off considerably over the last few days, but not long ago, on a warm afternoon, I moseyed out to my 'rock studio' to make a few balances.
After a rocky start....
(Oh my god....)
I got in the groove.
I decided since I was going to be working here a fair amount, I would tidy up the area and I transplanted some hardy plants from here and there around the yard as a backdrop.
We'll see what survives. I took plants that were growing on their own in rather inhospitable circumstances already, so this COULD be considered an upgrade for them. :-)
This balance gave me fits. But I finally got it:
At a certain point, I realized that I have collected a lot of rocks that are of a similar size. I'm going to have to do something about that during my next rock gathering field trip.
Couldn't decide which photo I liked the best of this one... so here's another angle...
Now that the temperatures have dropped, I'm back to my other hobby.
Hauling wood.

Wow! That second one is definitely held up by magic.

I agree with FutureCat!
The top rock looks like an elephant head looking down.
Great work, SIL.

would you mind terribly if I captured these pictures to show a few people?

Balance number two definitely wins as most mind boggling. Magical. :)
