We got up early this morning and took the dogs out for a walk before it got too hot. Yesterday it was about 97 degrees and they say it will be warmer today. I watered the daylights out of the whole back yard on Friday hoping to prepare them for it. I am almost sure the corn grew about two inches yesterday.

I finally had enough Sweet peas blooming to cut a big handful of them.

Every now and then I stick my nose right in the middle of them as I walk by. I think this is one flower that smells just as it looks. Not all flowers do. I mean who would think by looking at a daisy that it would smell like old tennis shoes?

(We could have done without that mental image Cupcake. It's a nice sunny day. Let's not spoil things.)

I finished a knitting project on Friday. I'm really happy with it too. Even though I'm not a huge fan of Prince, here's my version of a Raspberry Beret:

Love it. And it actually fits!

Now my only problem is nothing on my needles. I must remedy that soon.
