God Is My Gardener
Fri Mar 26 2004

God is watering my garden today.

He does a much better job of it than I could.

Everything looks greener already.

The whole atmosphere has changed. From blue skies and warm breezes to very dark clouds and steady rain. I had to turn the heat on again. We hadn't used it for almost 2 weeks! The weather changes the mood of the day quite a bit. Makes me even more introspective than usual. And me, I walk around in a perpetual state of inward looking. So I have to be careful on the cloudy days that I don't turn myself inside out! Can you imagine the mess?

It's perfect for it to rain today. Just perfect.

I'm sure your plants are grateful for the rain. Pray tell me do you still have your abstract leaves image on file because it seems to have disappeared in the graphics purge and I did love it for my menu bar...

I am willing to bribe/ pay my tithe in donuts for the graphic! ;)

Yes the rain is good, we have rain and snow up higher. The gang of 5 doe's love it as long as the wind is clam. Your instructions work GREAT on resizing pictures, but a slow process for all the dinking around . You make my day when I get over my sorry head with this THANG I needed a break from the plumbing but now figured out a better way when the PRO gets here.

Looks like we're in for another drought. The permanent mud puddles here and there have dried up. That is a bad sign.

I put my spider plants out in the yard to be watered by the natural dew of Heaven. Even though it never really rained here--drizzle mostly--it was enough to thoroughly wet the plants.

Had to go upstairs and get one of the tall boys to rehang the plants. I could unhook the plants by myself, but my arms aren't long enough to hook them up again.

I'll be glad to see the sunshine again.

And I still don't have a garden to water. The termperature is going up to 70 today though. I am sorely tempted to test fate and plant *something* this weekend though. I've been keeping my eye out for primroses, but nobody has them in stock yet.

Ah, spring rain. We have had spring and rain on and off lately but not both together. The gardening itch has begun though. I'm thinking baby kale this year along with my butterhead lettuce. Spring bulbs satisfy the early flower craving, although your sweetpeas have me tempted!
