Spring.
Housecleaning.
Spring Cleaning.
I have both my vacuums out today. The canister for dusting blinds and furniture and woodwork, and the upright for the carpeting. Today it's the bedroom. I have ALL the bedding off the bed. Some in the wash, some in the dryer and some hanging out in the warm sun. All the pillows are out sunning themselves on the patio swing and the bed sits in the middle of the floor where Hub Man pulled it out from the wall for me this morning, as I can't get the thing to budge an inch by myself.
All the windows are open and warm fresh air blows through the house.
Dust fears me.
Cobwebs tremble in fear.
Detritus has been exiled to the garbage can to be deported by the trash guy today.
Although my definition of detritus and Hub Man's are not even in the same dictionary.
But we manage most of the time to tolerate each others definitions. Everyone has baggage. Some of us just have MORE of it than others....
Smiling sweetly.
That kind of smile where butter wouldn't melt in my mouth. You know the one. :-)
