Temporary Insanity

Woo Hoo! I got to see a rad thunderstorm up in Oregon while visiting relatives there for the day. It was a nice rip snorter. Zzzzap, CRACK lightning and thunder. It was fun. But then I was safely tucked up in the apartment with a bird's eye view from the second story. I love thunderstorms.

Um, in response to some of the comments, I did not use permanent dye on my hair, it's the kind that is "supposed" to wash out over time, though that never really happens. It will be a real adventure to see what shades I will go through in the coming weeks. When it's time to do it again, I will stick with a nice plain brown and see if I can get back to something more normal looking!

If this had happened 10 years ago, I would be wearing a hat in public. But now that I am over 50, I am much less worried about it. I'm not sure if that is a good thing or not!

Found a really nice yarn shop up in Oregon and bought 4 skeins to make bags for two family members. They both chose their colors and I will put pictures up when they are finished.

Off to the dentist in a little while. Get to see a few of my favorite people and end up with REALLY clean teeth! What a deal!

I can't get to my email easily up here, the internet connection is so slow that I just gave it up. I will have to catch up with all of you when I get back home.

I miss being up on the latest!

The thunderstorm that was predicted for this area never materialized. Or I slept through it, which is doubtful. I like them too. Probably because I made such an effort to teach my children (opposite of what I was taught) is that they're fun to watch.

We did get some rain, though, finally. But the sun is making a major effort to show now. Effort that is.

When you find a color you like are you going permanent? Please come home soon so I can SEE.

    Shalom

I love thunderstorms too. We have not had a good one here in several years. I thought one was brewing yesterday, but it never materialized. Bummer.
