Have Faith
Mon Dec 07 2020

I am my worst critic.

(I beg to differ.)

Yes, you would.

Okay, how's this: My capacity for feeling on the verge of catastrophic failure is enormous.

(I'll give you that.)

So kind.

This particular venture into new craft territory is riddled with such verges every step of the way.

I received my new, more robust carving knife today and dove into this next project following Doug Linker's tutorial again.

My hands took a beating. They are very tired.

But my faith is bolstered.....

for the moment. :-)

(I thought you wanted to carve spoons. How is this a spoon?)

Patience my nemesis, patience.

Hey! That turned out great! I don't think I could do that. I don't have a lot of hand strength. I'd have to use roto-tools which doesn't give the same effect. Nice work!
