What Goes Up Must Come Down

While we were visiting my parents just recently, there was a small gathering of balloonists in the area. My Dad and I were startled one morning while sitting on the back deck by the sound of the propane fires of a balloon. Soon it came into sight.

We got in the car and chased around, eventually following their support vehicle just up the lane from us. Unfortunately, this is what we found when we got up there.

My son B. took a digital picture of it too.

The people were so upset. This was the balloon's first flight. But we heard they were going to just send it back to the factory for repairs, and I am sure they will be flying again soon. Let us hope they have happier landings next time. Thank goodness, no one was hurt.

Too bad about the flight, but how lucky you were to be on the scene to get these great pix.

It IS unfortunate that those poor people had to get caught in the trees in order for you to get such great pictures. As bad as they felt about it,though,I would be surprised if they hadn't requested copies of the experience. Take care and God Bless***
