There are very few things in this life that can set my world straight as reliably as getting my hands on some of this:

Truly.
I'm not sure what alchemy is at work, but all is right with the world this morning, at least within the square footage of my kitchen.
Though I must be honest. I can't help it. The ball of dough you see above has an error in it, and I immediately started another batch.
I promised to bring a loaf of my world famous whole wheat bread to my brother and sister in law tomorrow. Only thing is, I forgot a key ingredient.
Carob powder. I cannot believe I did that. The bread itself will be fine, it just won't be the kind I promised.
(So much for your reputation as a world class baker. There it goes, out the window. Right here on the blogosphere. Nice job Cupcake.)
ANYWAY, I am about to mix up the next ball of dough. I had to grind the flour first. It's waiting in the kitchen. So when I'm finished, I will have EIGHT loaves of lovely whole wheat bread to do something with. Wish I could share some by molecular transport right into your kitchens. :-)
For some reason God wants me to go back up north tomorrow. I managed to chip a piece off one of my fillings and I get to see my dentist. You know, the one I just saw a few short weeks ago??? Ain't life grand? But I can hardly complain, I am in no pain and I get to see my peeps again! Thank God for modern dentistry. That's all I have to say about it.
Well, I gotta run, I can smell the first batch of bread in the oven, which means it is getting close to being done. I don't want to add over baking to my list of foibles today.
