I cannot believe it has been two months since I walked up to the creek. I guess I have been otherwise occupied. (Scooping chicken poop. Tell the truth.) You always look at the dark side…. in fact you ARE the dark side. Anyway, when Sunny and I got there, I was amazed at how much it has changed!       The Big Leaf Maples have come out...   They are wonderful. I have been waiting for the water to go down, because there was a big rock I wanted to balance stones on. This is just the first of a series of balances I hope to do on this giant rock. It looks like Moby Dick rising up out of the water...     I poured water on this one after I balanced it. Then I went down the creek to some other spots and did some experiments...     There are so many different kinds of rocks in the area. It was fun choosing odd combinations. Anyway, Moby Dick will be my main palette for a while. I have some ideas I want to try out.  Though I hope it won't be two months before I get back up there. That's just plain silly. (Yes you are.) Likewise I'm sure.
