My first postcard arrived!
My name is now in the pool to start getting them. Though I THINK it is tied to how many I send out that are received and registered. There is this really cool map on the Postcrossing website that makes a graphic of outgoing and incoming cards!

Can you imagine what this will look like in a year or two??
Anyway, this is my first postcard, from someone in Spokane Washington. It is a photo of a cave in Vietnam. Evidently one of their relatives went there and bought postcards of it.

It looks like an alien world in a movie!
I have been making postcards for days. I have found all kinds of things to use around the house. Coloring book pages, magazine images, prints of my own artwork, scrapbook papers, greeting card fronts, you name it.
Only six of these cards were purchased. The rest I made myself.
I have two more to add to this jumble, plus five that I bought on Etsy for World Postcard Month in October. They were too cute to pass up. They are still coming in the mail.
Now I am just waiting for another of my cards to get registered as received. The ones I have 'traveling' have gone to Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Canada, and the USA.
This is so much fun!
(That's because you are easily amused.)
I think we have established this. No need to belabor it.
(It amuses ME to belabor just about anything.)
Evidently. 🙄

Oh lucky you i am still waiting it may be a while for me as mine all, went overseas but this will give me time to find new postcards
It was very helpful that one of my original five was in Texas. But the one that went to Belgium was received in 13 days. Everyone says the first wait is the hardest part.
