Well your roving reporter is now back home and catching up on bidness that piled up while I was out being a right wing radical. At least that's what I hear some people calling those who attended the Tea Party protests. Gawrsh, I didn't know I wuz one a those....!
Funny what you can come up with in your head when you just sit behind a desk at CNN all day and make up the news innit?
Oh, by the way the newspaper reported that there were 5000 people at the protest on Wednesday. I heard a higher number from another source, but they may have been including all the gatherings in this whole area, so I'm quoting the lowest estimate. That's still a lotta people.
Anyway, back to the real world. The house is full of noxious fumes coming from the shower cleaner I bought today and used in the bathroom. If there are any germs left in there, it's a miracle. I think I am going to go back to using baking soda and salt and vinegar for cleaning. That stuff I used today seems toxic. Never mind that it costs too much money.
The washing machine hasn't stopped all day as I am washing rugs and towels and sheets and quilts.... whew, thank goodness for modern appliances.
We are expecting a visitor this afternoon. Remember Scotty? Well, his owner is going on a little weekend trip with family and asked if we would watch him for her. He should be here late this afternoon. Are we crazy or what?
Four dogs in the house. But hey, it's Scotty. He's pretty mellow. Except he doesn't care for cats at all. It's going to be a long weekend for Fiona holed up under the couch...
Okay, back to the salt mines. There's still a little bit more to do around here.
Oh yeah, Passover is over now. What's for dinner?
Pancakes.
Woo Hoo!

From one right wing radical to another, I thought I should offer a bit of advice. You need to keep your knitting needles concealed when out in public. CNN probably saw them and thought you were one of those subversive granny types they are so fond of searching at airports. If you must knit in public maybe you could use something less threatening like paper straws. I would suggest plastic straws, but then you might attract the attention of the enviromentalists for not going green. Happy knitting in this brave new world you right wing radical you. :)
Although I'm sure she's not actually doing any of it.
Lazy supervisor.
Enjoy your weekend with your expanded pack. :o)
