The garden looks promising. Very promising.

And a good (secular) New Year to you, too.

    Shalom

You can't break what you don't make so I've decided not to make any resolutions. Why burden a perfectly good new year with guilt trips? I have enough left from last year to keep me well occupied thank you very much.

    There's a New Year's Fairy?

Well alrighy then.... things are looking up already. :)

I'm jealous, you have green in your garden. And a butterfly bush! I always wanted one of those!

    Happy New Year!!

I usually don't like biscotti, either. But I have a strong aversion to the taste of anise seed (caraway, too) and most biscotti is just full of those nasty things. Your biscotti recipe doesn't have any anise.

If you happen to make some rye bread without any caraway seeds, something one cannot buy, email me enough for a couple of pastrami sandwiches, ok?

    Happy secular New Year!

I like the idea of a New Year's fairy. Yep, I do.

Nice garden. Wanna come up and help me winterize mine?

    Happy New Year!

Something else? Yeah, my family has been trying to determine exactly what that something might be.

I've had it with holidays too. I am ready to return to normalcy.
