This has been a busy and intense week. Three days were invested in completely cleaning and re-arranging my back room. That room has so many purposes that some time back we dubbed it the Room of Requirement like in Harry Potter.
It functions as my garage because I don't have one. All my tools are back there. It's my food pantry, and I keep my file cabinet there so it's a bit office, I have my sewing supplies in a chest of drawers, I have gardening tools and seeds on the shelves and my stationary bicycle is back there too!
This makes it a bit of a jumble.
This year I really was brutal about purging things I don't need or use any more. I filled my garbage can and I took three boxes of things down to Davie's second-hand store to donate them. That DID help with the clutter.
It's going to be such a good thing to have it all squared away since winter is coming. I'm very happy. But my goodness, three days! Yikes!
When I finished back there, I baked challah.

This looks like such a small ball of dough...
But it makes these!

I did not adjust this photo. The eggs I used for it came from a local free range chicken farm. You can see the chickens out there every day. I only use the yolks in my challah, so this batch is VERY yellow!
I'm looking forward to a nice rest tomorrow after such a challenging but rewarding week!
Shabbat Shalom!
