A Little Art | DearDiary.Net

So I've been taking this art class over at the Senior Center for several weeks now. It's been challenging and a lot of fun. My favorite part of the class is being surrounded and inspired by a lot of talented people.

We are having a little pot luck and 'Art Show' next week as we approach the end of the semester. I didn't have anything I thought was good enough to take, so I had to get busy.

I found the perfect subject while cruising the internet. I made myself a print of it and used the enlarging technique we learned in class, and finished it in pen and ink and colored pencil.

Today I'm looking for a mat to frame it.

I will try to take pictures of some of the art when we have the show to let you see how far I have to go to approach the talent around me!!!

P.S. I heard from a friend last night, and Pragmatist is doing fairly well and should be out of ICU in a day or two. Thank God.
