Every year, my friend S. gathers evergreens and hauls out her stash of decorations and holds centerpiece making parties. Today was my turn along with another friend C.

We had fun visiting and laughing while we worked.

I can't remember how many centerpieces I have made over the years, but I DO know that this one is my favorite. 💗

S. gave me the little bird at the last minute. It was the best finishing touch!

Now I get to enjoy looking at this for many days to come.

Oh, and before I forget, an update on the wandering steer. The owners were found and the steer is back home. He belongs to the neighbors up the hill. We can't see their house from here and I haven't met them yet. Evidently this black bovine is an escape artist, so I fully expect to see him again sometime. I suppose if he does show up again, I'll have to give him a name. It's what we do around here. 😊
