Keep It Simple
Sun Jul 16 2006

I'm trying to distract myself from the troubling events of the day.

I've already ranted and raved and said my piece.

I won't bother you with it again today.

I comforted myself by picking tomatoes, and basil and parsley and rosemary, bringing them into the house and making soup. That and psalm 83.

Next will be cookies.

Cheap therapy.

Cheap therapy? If it works, bottle it and sell it.

When I first read of the airstrikes in Lebanon, a thought flashed in my mind. Armageddon.

Is this the last upheaval before Mashiach?

    Shalom

It is a troubled and scary world we live in these days.

I read a cartoon once where two people were talking about God. They were talking about the troubled times and one of them said, "Why doesn't God do something about it?" And the other answered, "I think about asking Him that, but I am afraid He will ask me the same thing."

    Peace to all.

I'm with you - though the news has been on much more than off this weekend.

My kind of therapy, especially at the moment. Hope you enjoy your garden. ;-)
