Post Nasal Drip Trip
Mon Dec 08 2003

Anybody remember this guy?

[album 65561 post nasal.jpg]

He was the cartoon figure they used for YEARS for I think it was Contac cold medicine or some other similar product. Those commercials seem so quaint now don't they? Remember the little M&M candies that jumped into the swimming pool full of candy coating? And it was in black and white!

Anyway back to:

The Post Nasal Drip Guy.

Very famous. I heard he retired in Arizona where I think post nasal drip is illegal.

But around our area, it's still possible to get it, and I have it.
Big time.

I am however rather happy to be having the flu bug. I figure I am getting it out of the way for the winter. I expect to be in the pink of health for the duration now. That is as soon as Mr. Post Nasal goes back to Arizona. He must have been out here on holiday is all I can think.

Not much of an entry I know, but hey, I'm sick here.... and you are getting art work too. Count your blessings! :-)

Three people have recommended whiskey as a remedy for the flu....
I am not sure what to make of that. My imagination runs rampant.
But it could just be the fever.... maybe....

Yeah, whiskey is good for cutting the phlegm, but the hot buttered rum toddy is good for what ails you.

You're probably right about getting it over with. I'm trusting in the flu shot I got awhile back and hoping there won't be anything to get over with. Heh.

The whiskey thing could be because we're all raging alcoholics. I offer you a warm sofa, a box of tissues and a film of the Jimmy Stewart ouevre to speed your recovery.
