Love The One You're With

I have been engaging in a particularly intense series of detailing days at my soon to be new home.
It hasn't been lived in for a year, and was in sad need of . . . tender loving care…in ALL its nooks and crannies. And thanks to my raging case of OCD, brought on by my uncertain future, I have become familiar with each and every one of said crannies….. and nooks.
Mr. P and I installed the new stove board under the old Fireview wood stove the other day.
It looks great.
I'm very happy.
Now I admit, it's no Ironheart stove.
But it's the one I'm with.
And it warms the house just dandy.
Here is is just after I had mopped the floor:
From this angle, it looks like it has a bustle. That's the fan that blows the warm air around. A very handy thing to have on a wood stove.
And in honor of my bonding…. with the stove I have….
I give you:

I've not seen a stove like that before. It looks like it will hold a pretty sizable load and so nice that you can see the fire..... always cheerful on a gray, gloomy day.
Have you a projected move in date?

the song made my day -- really had to laugh as I don't expect the stove (or you) would be very happy in the southern CA clime :)) -- it is made for cold weather! Looks VERY sturdy!! And does the stove have a name? All those stoves have/need names. My husband's aunt's stove had "Alice" printed in iron on the front .... :))
