Snow Journal Crisis

Being cooped up in the house for days on end is not good for my mental health!

It got bitterly cold on top of it which just added to the mild alarm one feels when just outside your door, without proper clothing it could do you in. It sets off the monkey brain pretty severely.

I have a few little things to share.

One, to say that Miss Tick was right about my lack of red ink ...

Second, there was a snowapocalypse in the fairy garden.

I hope everyone made it through the crisis.

All day yesterday and last night a warm wind blew and melted virtually all the snow except what's in the shade! I have weather whiplash right now I will tell you...

While in the cooped up phase, I started questioning some of my life choices let me tell you. They don't call it cabin fever for nothing.

I was angsting over how many journals I had going and trying to figure out how to narrow things down, or if I really wanted to narrow things down, and decided to get them ALL out and make myself take an honest look at what's going on.

I think it was a mistake.

Or it might be my salvation.

I haven't decided which one yet.

Here's what it looked like:

(You need professional help Cupcake.)

You could be right.

There are two traveler's notebooks, two ink swatching journals, three journals where I keep notes from Torah studies I am doing, a sheaf of loose-leaf notebook paper I scribble on, my weekly planner, a meal tracker, and my 'main' diary in the middle with the pen on it.

I have never had such a crazy lot of journals going in my entire life.

I managed to put ONE of them away for the time being. But the rest? I can't figure out how to consolidate them to my satisfaction.

But I haven't given up hope.

(Well, whatever your solution is, it better not include buying a new journal to solve your problem, or I'm calling your therapist.)

I don't have a therapist.

(See the above statement please. SEEK HELP before it's too late!)

You know.... I COULD consolidate my Torah notes into a new journal.... it would have to be a special one. Maybe a Hemlock and Oak journal.... you know the one with the new 70 gsm paper!

(Someone please send help!)

oh, I like cranberry red! I think, by experimenting with mixing colours you have, you might discover a new pallet of delight ;- ) (and NO, I am NOT taking responsibility for any kind of outcome!)

Seeing that snow I was fully expecting to scroll down to the picture of a man...the snow man, I mean...and where is he?! Did you miss the chance? Is the snow all gone for good, till the next season?...ahhh...

I was going to say something about your diaries too...but then thought...I am amused with the amount of your outlets writing in at any given moment ;- ) (but, honestly, writing them on a paper too does require self discipline in volumes I could never even dream to acquire and a time in equal measures too) Seriously, I could hardly scrabble a moment to keep one online place alive! How do you do that?! Big Respect to you, you should feel proud (and no, you don't need therapist, you need more journals!!! hint hint, nudge nudge...ha ha ha)
