Yesterday I cleaned house and did laundry and even got around to pruning the plum tree in the back yard. I got lots of stuff crossed off my to do list. Go me!
So today I started the day by cooking. I am the world's most lazy cook. I admit it. I cook in fiery blazes of intense activity and then coast for a few days. It works for me.
This morning, there was a harmonic convergence of culinary alchemy.
(You mean you got lucky.)
I managed to have the ingredients on hand to produce four of my favorite things to eat....

Butternut squash soup, sweet potatoes, brussels sprouts and peas 'n cheese 'n rice cold salad.
I have a friend who views 'leftover' food in the fridge the same way I do... he said it was like "Money in the bank!" I can just hear him saying it. That's half the fun of it...
Ergo, thanks to various and sundry tupperware containers, I have 'money in the bank' today.
It's just me and my microwave for the rest of the week.
