God, Lawyers, And Little Red Hens

Oh, all right, I was going to go all 'reality bites' in this entry and list all the disastrous things that are going on all around the world and then go Pollyanna on you and talk about 'happy thoughts' and all that, but I have obviously decided on mocking myself before I ever even get warmed up.

I think ( ) is having a bad influence on me.

Let me just get to the kernal of the whole thing.

My friends, we are living in perilous times. My advice to you? Say your prayers. And as you go about your daily lives, do the right thing. If you don't think there is AnyOne who is listening to your prayers... say them anyway. And if you don't know what the right thing to do is, find yourself a bible and look it up.

Forget the 'religion' part of the equation and all the 'hypocritical' religious people you have run into in your life. Stop blaming other people. In the final analysis, all this stuff boils down to one thing. You. And God.
There is a verse that sums it up quite nicely...

Jeremiah 9, 23-24

Thus says the LORD, "Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD who exercises lovingkindness, justice and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things," declares the LORD.

Don't let anyone else's bad behavior get in the way of your relationship.
