After the rigors of Yom Kippur, a Jew needs a little reviving.
A little nosh, a little simcha, a little camping out.
A little remembering the temporary nature of life...
[We can't get away from a lesson so easy....]
You can read about it here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sukkah
A sukkah is supposed to be a temporary structure, ours is particularly fragile. A good stiff wind, and we are in trouble.
But I like it.
The parachute is a personal touch from Hub Man. He took the day off, so was available for sukkah building. It would have been a lot harder without him.

Let the festivities begin!
The menu for tonight:
Orange Chicken
Rice
Apples from our tree
Challah
Eaten al fresco, or al Hebrewfresco to be more exact.
(You my dear are a nut. But that IS a nice hut.)

Now we'll just pray the neighborhood gastapo isn't sneaking around to report said structure and send out nasty HOA letters.
Now that would take the cake!
That dinner sounds lovely. Wish I lived closer.
Enjoy!!
