I'm pretty darn sure I have Spring fever.
Dreamy. Dopey. De-motivated.
(This is not Spring fever. This is your 'normal'.)
I'm pretty darn sure you are a buzz-kill.
(There's no need to get snarky.)
Sigh...
I sat out in the back yard swing yesterday afternoon, knitting and looking at the green popping out everywhere. The birds were all OVER the bird feeder and making quite a racket. But it was a nice racket. I decided things were practically perfect in every way out there. All that's missing are Sweet Pea blossoms. We are still waiting for them.
On Wednesday I am going to the Tax Day Tea Party at the Capitol and I have to make up my signs. I decided I can't settle for just one, so I will staple two back to back and I can flip them around. I hear Neil Cavuto from Fox News is going to be there. That should be interesting.
I'm taking my camera, the video camera, my citizen press badge.... [I just thought that one up], my cell phone and a sack lunch.
I'll be on the job to report back to you what it was like. I have a feeling there is going to be quite a crowd. Now I don't much care for crowds. I will be gritting my teeth and squirming a lot. But I'm willing to be uncomfortable in my own skin for a while to be there and record as best I can what happens.
Tomorrow I will show some pictures of my protest signs.
The first ones I have ever made in my life.
I think the anti-establishment people have become the establishment.
Now it's our turn to get protesty.
(You don't look like the testy type.)
Shows what YOU know.

I sigh when I read about or see pictures of flowers blooming all around. Here is all green, just green. While green is a whole lot better than barren, I'd like to see some colors. Maybe I'll just get a bunch of potted plants and unpot them around here. I'll just find something else to complain about.
Bless
Unfortunately, it is still a little early for most things up here.
But I'm enjoying the bulbs that are popping out all over!
This is the closest I found to what we had and it was drizzled with a brown gravy of indeterminate origin *laffs*. The gravy is a necessity. Trust me on that (the dumplings didn't absorb the gravy, though).
