Cookie Caper For Camomille
I baked some cookies the other day. This batch has whole wheat flour and granola with chopped fresh apples and cinnamon. Earthy little morsels they are. I tucked them into the cookie jar and went about some other chores in the house.
When I came back into the kitchen I saw something that made me think they were unhappy with their new digs.

It was the great Cookie Escape.
Very clever. But I foiled their attempt, piled them all back in there and this time secured the lid a little more carefully.
Cheeky baked goods.

I wonder if you added an additional 1/3 cup of applesauce to the mix before baking if that would take care of the dryness?

To the cookie warden...perhaps confinement in a maximum security container is in order. I hear escape from a tin is difficult as the lids are almost impossible to remove. Of course, this could be a problem when one has the munchies.
