Hen Misinterprets Genius Corner

[album 65561 GoofyHen2.JPG]"There I was, minding my own
business this morning,
pecking up dog and cat hair
from the weekend,
when I came upon this mess:
[album 65561 Project Table2.JPG]
I have never seen such a mess of
unfinished projects in my life.
It's just beyond ridiculous.
One should start a project and
finish it, then move on to the next.
Obviously, someone needs to get a memo.
Cluck, cluck, cluck."
Memo? What memo? I never got a memo. Why am I always the last one to hear about these things around here?

Obviously Hen has a one-track mind. And just as obviously Hen has never started a project that took more than an hour to complete.
Hey, Hen! Check out your egg-laying schedule.

Dear Red,
As one hen to another, I have to say that it really doesn't look all that bad. At last count there were 8 unfinished quilt projects draped across one small quilt rack alone here in our studio. This does not take into account the baby quilt waiting for hand work, the big quilt in the bag waiting for binding or the boxes of blocks waiting to become quilts.
It isn't my fault either. Since SHE got herself elected to the School Board SHE has neglected her responsibilities around here dreadfully. All she does is read and read and read some more. BUK! I'm so bored with statistics I could easily fly the coop, but then who would remind her she needs to take a break and sew?
Such is the price we pay for living in the midst of genius and true diligence. Don't let it get you down.

PS. By the way, is the book by Tolkien a good one? I have never seen that title before.

BUK!
Ditto Quilty Hen!
Only around here it is scrapbook stuff -EVERYWHERE in this craft room. AND she has decided to start a new one and the other three aren't even done yet.
Count your blessings, Red. That in one small pile of stuff.

The Sofer said he'd be here until Tuesday, so you still have time to have him check.
BTW: Thanks for the invite to the Air Show. I'll be there.

I'm pretty certain that was the plate in the photo - it's the only yellow plate we've got, anyway, and it looked yellow in the photo to me (we had a whole mish-mash of different spare plates out because our normal dinner set didn't have enough for everyone, so I don't actually remember exactly which plates we were using).
