Fri Jul 23 2010 - Sara's Day
Sara's Day

We are all a little bit in shock today.

Sara has been adopted.

The woman was just going to come and meet her and see if she wanted to adopt Sara, but was going to be going on vacation in a few weeks and was thinking of taking her home at later date. But she made arrangements for her dog sitter to spend nights with Sara, so she took her home today!

Me, I sort of needed a little emotional preparation time, and didn't get it...

Remember me, the one who doesn't like surprises????

So we are sort of having eye twitches here. Well the rest of the crew seem to be doing fine.... I'M the one with eye twitches. But not over who Sara went home with. She was a really great match for her. Sara will be the only dog. There is a cat, but that should pose no problems for Sara. She got along with Fiona allright.

It's going to be a little quieter around here for a while. Though we are back in play for a new dog, since I hear we are pretty busy that way right now. So don't be surprised if we are introducing a new one soon.

I hope my eye stops twitching before the next one gets here....

(Your eye never stops twitching from what I can tell....)

Good.
Less dog hair to clean up.
Don't let the door slam
on your tail there pooch!

That's cold.

Bye, bye Sara..... be happy in your new home.

*hands Y a tissue* There there, you'll be fine. You just need a day or so to adjust.

It always surprises me how ill-prepared I am to give up a foster when the time comes. In my case it's probably almost better that I have no warning, so I don't get weird and mushy around the fosters as I'm getting them ready to leave. The little fuzz balls always know when I'm upset, even if it's a happy upset.

Hooray for Sara! Another lucky dog finds a forever home!
You'll be fine, SIL. You always are. :o)
Big hugs for another job well done.
Love ya!!

I'm glad she found a home but it is rather abrupt especially given the circumstances.

Bye Sara!

Lucky Sara.

Yeah, it's hard to say goodbye when you're not quite prepared. Sometimes, even, when you are prepared.

RYQ: Chabad of Clark County is in Orchards, about 20 minutes away. Lacked one of having a minyan yesterday. A nice kiddush, but no challah.

Rabbi and rebbetzin remembered me from last year. He asked after Rabbi Cohen. Have to remember to tell Mendy when I get home.
