Friday Words

From Rabbi Nachman of Breslov:
"Always look for the good in the other.
Focus on that good, highlight it,
and turn even sinner into saint.
Always look for the good in yourself.
Focus on that good, highlight it,
and turn even depression into joy."

hi mon amie
I agree with the rabbi we should highlight the good in others
if we spent as much time worshiping the beauty of the other person as we do resenting that they are not what we want them to be and trying to change them there would be more joy in relationships and we would realize that it is often because of their weaknesses that their strengths exist
well there goes my slice of philosophy for the day
love and light

although I am shining in the borrowed light of the rabbi

RYC: Freesia. Now here is a flower I have never grown. What are they like? How tall? Tolerate heat? Reseed themselves? Perenial? Annual? Do tell!
I'm not sure, I've never grown them myself! The seeds were 50% off though, and I figured, What the heck!
I'll let you know as I (attempt to) grow them!
