Day 6 of 40. Forty Days
I will make this observation at this point about the eating every 3 hours strategy. I am sure that I am eating less overall during the day. Psychologically knowing that in just a short time, I will be eating something, helps keep me from overeating altogether. I don't get ravenously hungry at any time. And I have found that just a little snack, will do it. Half a protein bar, a couple of plums, a few graham crackers and some milk... just a little something, keeps me going.
Though to be honest, at about 8 or 9 in the evening, I feel like I could have a little nosh. This is a new thing for me. Usually after dinner, I don't care a thing about food. I'm thinking about "feeding" that feeling with some chamomile tea tonight and see if that takes care of it.
I'm not getting on the scale at all until the first of August, so I don't know if I am losing weight or not. I feel fine otherwise though. I'm also getting creative at adding the green tea to improbable things. I sloshed some into the blender with my morning fruit and yogurt smoothy. It was fine. The green tea jello is quite nice also. I will make another batch of it today, I am almost out. I put it in little tupperware containers so I can grab one and eat it whenever I feel like it.
In the garden, the tomatoes are starting to ripen. I picked two small ones the other day. Sent one off with Hub Man in his lunch today. I am looking forward to having enough of them to make tomato soup with. Yum!
Otherwise, things are quiet around here today.
That's fine by me.

Homemade tomato soup with homegrown tomatoes. How can it get any better?
Shalom
I wish we had gotten a tomato planted, but by the time the ground was cleared it was too late. If I do feel the need to snack there is little better than fresh sun warmed tomatoes straight from the garden. :)
Mmmmm....Tomato soup. I love tomato soup.
Take care,
