I finally got to do some fun knitting after finishing up a promised project the other day.

I am quite pleased with the results.

Dory has a travelling pouch.

And it suits her I think....

What IS it about a log cabin square? I'm askin' ya....

There's something primal about them. There must be a place in our brains for the log cabin motif to plug into and make us smile.

I tried to get a picture for you using natural light, but there's not much of that to be had today. It's gray and stormy. The wind blew us into next week all last night. I am half thinking of braving the inclement outdoors though because I would like to see the beaver pond again. But to tell the truth, last time I went out there, I came home with a tick. I noticed him climbing up my neck about an hour after getting home from the fields.
He met his fate by being flushed down the toilet.

When it comes to ticks, I show no mercy.

(Ah, the possible rejoinders are so numerous, verily, my head spins...)
