What day is it?
Seems like it's been a long time since I wrote in here for some reason.
I DID end up going to work for the first time at my new job. It was a long 10 hour day, but not arduous as I was basically sitting with a client who normally would have been at work, but stayed home sick. We watched A LOT of HBO.... and I knitted practically a whole bag while there. I didn't really do much except "be there". We had no drama which is good. But I gotta tell you, I am not used to sitting most of the day like that. I started to get a little antsy after a while. I brought a whole bag full of stuff to keep me occupied. But still.... Oy!
I have always suspected it, but now I am pretty much sure that I could quite easily be psychologically broken in short order, if left in a room alone with nothing to do. Oh in maybe three days I would be a blubbering, drooling, head smacking nut job. No thumb screws necessary.
But on to more pleasant topics....
So my latest bag has just gotten out of the washer and is drying outside in the swing. I like it.... heck, I like them all. Because I am easily amused, thank God. There are times I think that is my best quality. Though I do need SOMETHING to do, it doesn't have to be anything big and fancy! I'm a flippin' cheap date too come to think of it.
(What's with all this introspection today?)
YOU try living with hormone fluctuations smarty pants, and we'll just see how long you hold up.
I'm getting ready to plant the garden, but need a few bags of soil and manure to top off the beds this year. I was playing the pollinating fairy today again with my soft paintbrush. The peach tree is in full bloom. There are no bees in sight. So I'm taking on the job. Too bad I don't have wings. And a stinger might come in handy once in a while come to think of it. . . I could use it on ( ).
(I heard that.)
Good! Make a note of it!
