I am going up to the mountains to see my brother and Mamallama tomorrow.

I NEED a break.


But The Hen would NOT let me leave until she took inventory.

    I'd hoped that my own pantry would look like that by now, but sadly, all I have to show for thus far into the summer is a jar and a half of tomato sauce and a couple of whole tomatoes in the freezer. :/ Oh well, I've got a few weeks left. Maybe I'll get a few more. *sigh*

    Other than a loaf of freshly baked bread, I can think of nothing quite as satisfying as jars filled with yummy things waiting to be tucked in the pantry.
