It's fawn season at the homestead. Though I personally have only seen three fawns so far. A set of twins and this little tyke...

This fawn is less than a week old. It amazes me that creatures can be born so fully functional!

Yep. Pretty cute. But last night they came up on the porch and ate Sweet Woodruff, Oregano, and Thyme, which they are not supposed to like. I told someone the other day that the plant damage in my yard is 'the deer tax'.

They most definitely came to collect while I was sleeping.
