These last days of the year are always a kind of twilight zone aren't they? Everyone's schedules are wonky, some businesses are closed until the new year, so many people are on the road to or from somewhere 😋 And it feels like it's a really bad time to START anything for all the obvious reasons.
I have been searching for my next analog journal as I mentioned before, and last night a Hannukah miracle happened! I found out that a certain notebook that I have enjoyed using over the years comes in a format I had never run across! The ones I have used are graph paper, which is really small and kind of cramps my style, but the paper is SO lovely, I have put up with it. BUT I found out that they have ONE notebook that is lined! Perhaps it's new. I don't know. But I ordered one immediately. Now the waiting begins. OY. So much waiting!
In these in-between days I have been writing on all kinds of loose sheets of paper, testing inks, writing random lists, making plans for the new year, whining about my lack of a proper journal at the moment, you name it. I've started putting them in an old stationary box to get them off my work table. Last night I had run out of words...
(WHAT?)
I know... it was kinda scary.
...but not the desire to play with my pens so I made another doodle that I learned from John Bosley at Fountain Pen Love.
What are YOU doing with your last days of 2024?
Me? I just hope my ink holds out!
