I finally looked at the internet radio stations that are in the Windows Media Player. After goofing around for 10 minutes trying to find one that worked right, I'm listening to a station in Britain that plays oldies.

Of course oldies means different things to different people. For me it means......Beatles! Yeah, yeah, yeah !

But what I'm getting is: Do wah diddy, diddy dum diddy do.... classic lyrics if ever I heard them :-)

What a day it was today. I sat in the shade of the trees in the synagogue back yard where we have lunch, until everyone left but two friends and I. We lounged there until 5 o'clock talking about everything under the sun, literally. I think I have a bit of a sunburn, but I don't mind. It was a nice afternoon. We laughed, we joked, we talked about serious stuff and generally had a good time. Even the squirrels came down for leftover Challah and sat nearby eating it. They know we won't bother them. We endured a continuous shower of catkins falling from the trees. When they collided with each other, you could see a cloud of pollen. Thank goodness I don't have allergies.

It was nice to have nothing in particular to do. And to do that nothing in particular with good friends.

But now I am sleepy from all that fresh air, and it's only 7:30...
