Is is just me, or does it seem like the world is coming apart at the seams?

Literally.

I'm just sayin'.

I wanted you to know that even though I write about the most mundane details of my teeny tiny life, I am not unaware nor uncaring of what's going on in the big wide world.

I just don't know what the frak to do about it.

Except pray.

    It's so far out of whack that I'm not sure there is any fixing it. When our leaders can't come together and fight for the people and leave party lines out of it even with the people telling them that's what we want, there's nothing for it. Throw in foreign affairs and it just gets hazier and messier. I don't talk about it in my diary for the same reason.

    I'm sick to death of our government throwing the citizens under the bus to favor big business and Wall Street that I can't even speak about it without becoming some kind of rabid, foaming at the mouth, insane person. The last straw for me was when the Supreme Court determined that corporations are to be considered individuals and can now donate unlimited funds. I mean, REALLY! It all makes me sick. At least before they had to donate in the names of board members, spouses of board members and children/grandchildren of board members. Eventually they ran out of names and had to stop. Now there's no stopping the Plutocracy.
