Week's End

I had the pleasant opportunity to meet up with a knitting friend from my old haunts in the city today.
She came bearing gifts.
One of them was a bag of the most beautiful Meyer lemons from her own tree...
Here they are absolutely glowing ...
I see lemon curd in my future!
And she also brought some of her first spinning work, made from Shetland wool.
It's beautiful to me. For I am a lover of all things rustic.

I'll have to think of something special to make with these yarns.
It's been a very busy week for me. I have been running here and there.
I'm very much looking forward to my day of rest.
When I'm not smelling the aroma of fresh lemons, I'll be fondling wool.
Perfection.
