What Day Is It? Monday? You're Kidding!
Mon May 30 2005

Home from the mountains. Whew! We sure saw a lot of territory in the last few days. Have been on several excursions here and there and are contemplating whether or not to go see Star Wars this evening.

It is perhaps a measure of our overall enthusiasm about it, that we aren't sure if we will go today or not.

Sorry to say, my anticipation levels at the movies has drastically declined in the last several years. Are so we jaded? Are we so full of ennui? Are we so very very hard to please? I don't know. I wonder about it though.

Somebody was smiling on our blackberry vines while we were away. Several of them have ripened. I am going to have to cruise through the patch and see if they are ready to pick. I suspect a few more days will do them good. Can blackberry pie be too far in the future?

Well, that's about all I can muster right now. I'm a little fried from being in the car, but not as fried as usual. But for sure, some nice yoga is on my agenda for the evening. I need to work out some of these car kinks.

I'm now experiencing Blackberry envy. Lucky you to have them ripe so early. We have to wait another month and a half before imbibing ourselves in the juicy heavenly sweetness that is Blackberry!

    Glad you're back.

    Blackberry pie. MMMMMMMM!!!!!

You left the wedding party early. I was looking around for you and you had left already. For a headstart on the trip North?

    Shalom

Did you hear that loud game of bowling going on in the heavens this weekend? It woke me up at around 3:00 AM on Friday and on Saturday at 3:00 PM in the afternoon (redundant!!!) I was trying to get out to the car so I could get over the mountain to my inlaw's 6oth wedding aniversary party but the rain fell so fast and furiously that I had to wait 20 mins. for it to calm down. I think the lightening must have hit in my front yard because my house shook so much the dishes in my dish drainer changed position a few times. So did my eardrums from the thunder clap. I should say PUNCH! I've never heard anything like that before.
Enjoy the berries and please think of me when you are eating them, however they are prepared. You might share them with the Pool Boy. I'm sure he wouldn't want to be neglected.
Take it easy and stay out of trouble.
    Love, Parett

I've only seen Sith three times so far, and it's been out over two weeks! It's been the best of a disappointing set of three, but I have to admit that I see more to like in it each time I go back. I'll be interested in hearing your take on it.
