Rain And A Coin Purse

Greetings from the soggy middle of the state.
Woo Hoo!
I went out this morning to check my little frog rain gauge and lo, it has a crack in the bottom of it, so despite a night of rain, said frog was holding an empty glass tube. All I know is I'm happy for every drop, whether or not I [or the frog] measured it.
I finished up a little experiment this morning...
Here it is:
It was fun to make. Though the zipper was a bit of a problem. I gave up the idea of sewing it in and got some fabric glue and glued it in there. [Lazy is my middle name.]
I don't know if you can read the pattern. It's pretty sketchy, but if you knit, I think you could follow that. You will have to save the picture to your computer and then you can zoom it if you really want to give it a go.
Well, I better wrap this up. I have candles to light in a little while.
Nice weekend all.....!

The sad thing is that I could understand the pattern but I can't knit to save my soul *bangs head while sighing heavily*. I'm a wanna be knitter.

I love the colors!
I've got one started and I can't wait to felt it.
Hope you have a great weekend, too.

RYC: It seems that re-evaluation is the order of the day lately, so to speak. I guess it's because the national economy is in such a mess and people all over the place are wondering what the heck is going to happen next. Uncertain times and all that.
Pardon me while I go take up plate painting (move over Picasso).
