Whew!

I have returned to the safety of home.

Been shopping.

They took all my money.

I took all their stuff.

Though some of the stuff is still in the trunk of the car. I cannot carry a case of Gatorade anywhere, and that's the end of it. I'll have to bribe Hub Man with peanut butter cookies to empty that car out for me later....

It's pretty overcast here today, which is a real treat let me tell you. The temps are down about 15 degrees off 'inferno' because of it too. Oh yeah.

Went to the yarn shop while I was out. I was thinking of casting on some socks for the Stitch and Pitch baseball excursion...

I hope I got the color right. It is mostly fuchia/purpley. I'm not sure what it is going to knit up like, but I wanted to get something where I didn't have to change colors all the time. I might trim the top of the sock with something when it is done to set it off. I will have to wait and see. But you never know. I already have an idea for the top part of the plain sock pattern I am going to use. Something about hearts I think.... Just when I think I am going to do something 'regular', I come up with a variation. Just like me to complicate things....

How pretty the yarn. That'll make up right nice.

About the Gatorade...you could bring it in bottle by bottle. But on the other hand, a little bribery makes sweet, right?

    Bless the day

I think variations on purple are the most popular colors. My favorite anyway.

I was watching a knitting program on DYI and they were knitting bowls with twists(I don't thing they were felted but sure looked like it). They reminded me of your gourd bowls and containers. They also made them into purses. A program on socks was talked about but I didn't catch the day.

You have probably already been aware of that info but thought I'd mention it just in case.

Take care from someone in an area of 105 degree temps!

Ooh, beautiful yarn!! What is it? That looks so pretty you almost wouldn't need a pattern to set it off, it should be fine all by itself. Lovely!

I think somehow the wires got crossed in the communication department. I distinctly remember saying I would point my fans south; this in the hopes of pushing the hot air away from you to the south. The powers that be seemed to have hooked up a vacuum instead and all your hot air is being sucked north.

    This is not cool.....literally.

Somebody, anybody please pull the plug...... soon....... yes, soon would be good.

I just love the colour of this yarn. Looks really yummy. But isn't it a bit warm for such lovely socks? ;-)
