Oh, I can't stop taking pictures of the wee ones. Even when they are going through their 'awkward days'.   With humans, we would say 'awkward years', but in the chicken world, minutes are like days. They seem to grow while you are watching them.   This little one decided to take an impromptu nap under the small butterfly bush….     Elsewhere on the homestead...   For better or worse, here's my little sukkah...   I'm thinking next year I will try to build something with a little more gravitas. But hey, I'm a girl. I made it all by myself.  And I'm doin' the best that I can. (Yep, that's a girly looking sukkah. Let's hope the wind doesn't blow for the next seven days.) Pray more like.
