What Day Is It Again?
Tue Sep 07 2004

Labor Day is over.

And now I am going to be confused all week as to what day it is.

I'm already easy to confuse.

You could, without much trouble at all convince me that it's Friday on Wednesday. I would most likely figure you are right, as I am so often wrong about these things lately.

A few weeks ago, a friend called me up mildly concerned. Where are you? I was expecting you at 11 o'clock?

Oh? I thought our appointment was for NEXT Monday.

No, today. She assured me.

Well, I took full responsibility for the error.
After all, I'm the air head here.

But as it turned out, when I showed up the next Monday, she confessed that SHE had written down the wrong date.

Whew!

It may be the only time I'm right about anything from now until Hannukah.

I'm not sure of what day it is, either. Frankly, if it wasn't for reading blogs and things, I may not have known it was Labor Day. That's bad, isn't it?

I have three different calendars, and I still can't keep track of what day it is. If I didn't take a daily paper, I'd never know.

Let's see, I watched 60 Minutes last night, that comes on Sunday night, so today must be Monday. Right.

Hoo boy! If 60 Minutes ever moves to another night, I'm totally gang agly.

    Shalom
