I was so glad we got Discovery off and on the 4th. At last some good news. I really miss the fireworks show we had on Arkansas river at the dam locks . It was always a great outing and show.

And Happy 4th to you too.

The Bee published The Declaration of Independence today. A fitting reminder of why we celebrate the day. Amid the picnics and fireworks and 4-day weekends, I wonder if we sometimes, maybe, lose sight of the reason for the picnics and fireworks and 4-day weekends.
