The Sock Report
Someone asked about socks.
Well, there are results to report on that front.
The plum socks are finished. I had 'fun' making them. Why fun in quotes? Because sometimes learning a new pattern is only fun in retrospect. During.... well, it's a little tense. Anyway, here they are:

Yeah, well I AM amazed every time I make a pair of these things. I really am.
And in other sock news. I finished the pair to go with the other pair.

I am not going to make the last pair with the final combination of colors because I decided to make a log cabin book bag with the leftover yarn instead. It's on the needles now. How many people have a little felted bag that matches their socks, I want to know?
That's rare cool right there.
(I wouldn't be caught dead wearing any of those contraptions.)

I just love those shoes and socks together! Reminds me of something I would wear. Not that I can make socks, of course. But I could tie-dye them!
