Fri Dec 19 2025 - French Ink de Tea
French Ink de Tea

A warm storm has moved in and over the last few days, according to my rain gauge, dropped over three inches of moisture. When we get this much rain quickly, the ice pond begins to fill up. It's just begun as of this morning and already I'm dreaming of Wood Ducks. I hope they come to visit my temporary pond again. Though it will take some sort of miracle for me ever to share a photo with you, as you never saw such a flighty flock of birds in your life. They take off at the slightest movements.

The other day, I watched a video by John on his channel Fountain Pen Love where he flipped through a journal he had where he has been testing inks for several years. It was so fun to look at and it showcased some of the fountain pen doodles he makes and shares on his channel and blog. I'm a big fan. Fountain pen nerds are my jam.

Even though I have done ink testing pages from the Diamine Inkvent Calendar I got last year,

I decided I would make some pages with the inks I have finally settled on for my own collection since then, starting with :

"Lie de The'" means Leaves of Tea in French. Looks more like coffee to me!

Since it's still raining pretty good, I think I'll be forced to stay inside today, so I might have to get out another ink and start a new page.

Winter pursuits are the order of the day.

You are so talented with your ink pens i love your drawings, wow that is. Lot of rain we are getting snow again it all melted last night then started this afternoon i am certainly not going out in this mess, and i like your header i cn get them put up on my page but can’t seem to figure out how to make it full length across the top

I can get it all the way across either. It must have to do with the text box width perimeter.
