As of this moment (3 p.m.) you've got me beat by five degrees. We will probably peak out in a couple of hours at 103 or 104. The big difference between where you are and where I am is that it almost always cools off a lot in the greater Sacramento area as soon as the sun goes down. Here, it stays hot for several more hours. Last night when I went to bed it was still nearly 80 degrees!

Glad I didn't pick today to come and visit. Whew, is right! Hot would be spelled H-E-double hocky sticks! :o)

And I wish it didn't apply here. Don't think I'll plan on going to shul, as the temp is predicted to be 107. Precious little shade along my walk route, so I think I'll just stay home.

Just checked and it is 92 here, Aword of caution !! That type heat brings on brown outs or rolling blackouts , so either eats computers
so first sign of it unplug computers OK.
