Enormous Knitted Object

At the last farmer's market, one of the growers wanted to know if I would knit her a market bag.
I said sure thing, and showed her some yarn I had that I thought would work.
She approved the colors and I set to.
I told her I would make it as large as the amount of yarn would allow.
I didn't realize what this would actually LOOK like when finished.
It took a long time, but I finished it today.
Once I got a really good look at it, I promptly gave her the name...
Big Bertha.
22 inches long, 19 inches wide.
The good news is that she felted up really nicely. I was a little worried because sometimes this kind of yarn tends to warp for no good reason.
Bertha decided she was having none of that and came out of the washer a very handsome bag.
Now, I think it's time to cast on something tiny. And say goodbye to Bertha.
I'm off to look at patterns of little things...

Very nice indeed. Is it the lighting or did the colors change after felting?
